HANUMAN
Hanuman embodies strength, courage, and selfless service. As the devoted servant of Ram, he plays a central role in the Ramayana, assisting in the rescue of Sita from the demon king Ravana. Though endowed with immense powers—including strength, flight, and supernatural abilities—Hanuman uses them only in service of the Divine and the well-being of others. His life is a living expression of loyalty, humility, perseverance, and unwavering faith. Devotees often recite the Hanuman Chalisa, composed by Tulsidas, seeking his blessings for courage, protection, success, and inner peace. One of the most well-known stories describes Hanuman revealing that Ram and Sita dwell within his own heart by opening his chest, symbolizing complete devotion and the realization of the Divine within. Another famous episode recounts him carrying a mountain of healing herbs to the battlefield to save Ram’s army, demonstrating his boundless strength.
