RAMAKRISHNA

Ramakrishna’s life was devoted to the direct experience of God and he was a worshipper of the Divine Mother, Kali. Known for his deep devotion, purity, and profound spiritual realizations, he practiced various religious paths. His teachings emphasized love of God, devotion, prayer, and the importance of realizing the Divine through direct experience. He encouraged seekers to approach spiritual life with sincerity, faith, and an open heart, seeing the sacred in all forms of life. He demonstrated that the Divine can be realized through practice and devotion, and that all religions ultimately point toward the same reality. His wife, Sri Sarada Devi, is honored as the Holy Mother, and was a spiritual leader who guided disciples with compassion, wisdom, and quiet strength.
