ARDHANARISHVARA
Ardhanarishvara is a sacred form in Hinduism that unites the divine masculine and divine feminine into a single figure. "The Lord Who Is Half Woman," is the meaning of the name and combines Ardha (half), Nari (woman), and Ishvara (Lord). One half of the form represents Shiva, while the other represents Parvati. Ardhanarishvara symbolizes the inseparable unity and balance of complementary forces within creation. Stillness and activity, strength and compassion, consciousness and creative energy.
