SRI SARADA DEVI
Sri Sarada Devi, often known as the Holy Mother, was a revered spiritual leader in India. She was the spiritual consort of Ramakrishna and later became a guiding force for many of his disciples. Although she lived a simple and outwardly quiet life, countless people were drawn to her wisdom, compassion, and spiritual presence. Sarada Devi taught that spiritual realization is open to all people regardless of background, education, or social status. Her teachings emphasized purity of heart, devotion to God, selfless service, patience, and seeing the Divine in every being. One of her most cherished teachings was: “If you want peace, do not look into the faults of others. Rather see your own faults. Learn to make the whole world your own.” Her life continues to inspire people through its example of unconditional love, humility, acceptance, and spiritual strength. Today, she is honored as one of the great women saints and spiritual teachers of modern India, alongside figures such as Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, and Anandamayi Ma.
