GANESH

Lord Ganesha is the elephant-headed Hindu deity of wisdom, good fortune, and new beginnings, revered as the remover of obstacles. He is often depicted with a large belly, multiple arms holding symbolic objects, and a mouse as his vehicle, representing the ability to overcome fear and limitations. According to tradition, Ganesha was created by the goddess Parvati to guard her while she bathed. When Lord Shiva, unaware of Ganesha’s identity, was denied entry, he beheaded him in anger. To restore his life, Shiva replaced his head with that of an elephant and declared that Ganesha would be honored first in all Hindu rituals. Dancing Ganesha is a joyful form that symbolizes celebration, creativity, and prosperity, inspiring devotees to move through life with enthusiasm while overcoming obstacles.
