Pray

Prayer is the practice of communicating with, contemplating, or turning one's attention toward the Divine. Prayer may take the form of spoken words, silent reflection, praise, petition, gratitude, or simply resting in the presence of something greater than oneself. Across spiritual traditions, prayer can cultivate faith, humility, devotion, comfort, and a sense of connection. To learn more, read The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence.
