INDRA

Indra is a prominent deity in Hindu tradition, especially in the ancient Vedic scriptures, where he is revered as the king of the gods and the ruler of the heavens. He is associated with thunder, lightning, rain, and storms, and is celebrated as a powerful protector who maintains cosmic order and brings life-giving rains to the earth. Many stories describe his courage in overcoming forces of chaos and restoring balance to the world. Often depicted riding his celestial elephant, Airavata, Indra symbolizes strength, leadership, and divine authority. Throughout Hindu mythology, he serves as a guardian of the heavens and a defender of both gods and humanity. His stories continue to be remembered as teachings about courage, responsibility, and the ongoing struggle between order and disorder.
