HAND BONES

The hands are essential to how we interact with the world and rely on a complex network of 27 bones to provide structure and movement. This includes 8 small wrist bones and the finger bones known as phalanges. Each of the four fingers contains three phalanges, while the thumb has only two phalanges, a design that enables its unique range of motion. Understanding how the body works increases physical awareness, helping us better protect and care for the bodies we inhabit. (This drawing is missing two wrist bones, each row should have 4 bones)
