GANESH

Ganesh is the son of Shiva and Parvati and is a deity recognized by his elephant head. He is revered as the remover of obstacles and the guardian of new beginnings. Devotees often invoke him before starting new ventures or spiritual practices. He is shown with symbolic objects: an axe for releasing attachments, a lotus for spiritual awakening, sweets for the joy of devotion, and a raised hand offering protection. His broken tusk represents sacrifice and perseverance, while his mouse vehicle, Mushika, symbolizes the restless mind that can be guided with awareness. Ganesh inspires humility, clarity, and an open heart on the spiritual path.
