COW

Cows are considered sacred in India and are often seen moving peacefully through streets and rural landscapes as part of everyday life. During festivals, they may be decorated with bells, painted horns, jewelry, and garlands of flowers as a gesture of reverence and gratitude. The cow is also closely associated with Krishna, who is often depicted as Gopala, a cowherd, lovingly tending and playing among cows, symbolizing compassion, harmony with nature, and the sacred bond between the divine and all living beings.
