Indra is the Hindu god of weather, rain, storms, thunder, war, and king of the gods in heaven. He wields a thunderbolt, Vajra, his legendary weapon is immensely powerful and symbolizes invincibility and righteousness, he famously used it to slay the serpent Vritra and release the world's essential waters from drought.  Indra rides a white elephant, Airavata and also has eyes all over his body because of a curse that he once received and is known as “the thousand-eyed”.
