ANANDAMAYI MA

Anandamayi Ma was an Indian mystic, saint, and spiritual teacher revered by many as an embodiment of the Divine Mother. Known as the “Bliss-Pervaded Mother,” she was admired for her wisdom, loving presence, and natural state of spiritual awakening. She experienced spontaneous spiritual practices and deep states of consciousness, which she described as the “play” of spiritual life. She taught that all religions lead to the same truth and that everyday life can become a path of spiritual growth when lived with love, sincerity, and devotion. Emphasizing self-realization, detachment from worldly desires, and the unity of all life, her teachings are mentioned in Autobiography of a Yogi written by Paramahansa Yogananda.
